The other great thing about eshakti.com is that they have great sales and frequently send additional gift codes that can be used off your next purchase. With my gift code and the sale price, I scored this dress for about $35 including customization. How could I not buy it! (If you haven’t shopped at eshakti.com yet, you need to do so as soon as you finish reading about this amazing dress.)
When the dress arrived, I couldn’t wait to try it on. The fabric was really nice with a heavy weight that would drape well, yet soft enough to be really comfortable. (I’ve run into a couple other knits that weren’t quite as nice over the years, but this one is so great.) Did I mention virtually all of their dresses have big pockets? Yep and big enough to be useful as you run errands or to warm up cold hands! I’m sure I’ve said it before, but I’ll say it again, there is nothing like the feeling slipping on a dress that was custom made for you. No feelings of disappointment, just the rush of it fitting perfectly in the bust, waist, arms, and hips. Seriously, it was love at first wearing. This dress is so comfortable and the draped sash adds just the right touch. Since it was custom made, the skirt has all the fullness it should and twirls nicely even with my plentiful hips.
I’m finding it hard to resist wearing this dress constantly! It pairs nicely with sandals and silver hoop earrings for a casual day. I can dress it up with a big statement necklace and strappy heels. A little white cardigan works well with it for chilly morning walks. I definitely should snap up another one if they offer it in another color!
